Tamron AF90M-700 Review: Tamron AF 24-135mm f/3.5-5.6 SP AD Aspherical (IF) Lens for Konica Minolta and Sony Digital SLR Cameras. I was warned about buying a lens with such a long zoom range because they are often a compromise in image quality. Not this lens. The clarity and sharpness is amazing. The zoom range is perfect for a walk-around lens. I have used it for landscapes, portraits, street photography and even telephoto shots of wildlife. The minimum focusing distance and 1:3.3 magnification make it a decent macro zoom and great for shooting flowers and other subjects close-up. This lens is on my camera 90% of the time.
